WF-1000XM5 wireless earphone that supports ambient noise isolation technology

The latest wireless headphone from Sony, the WF-1000XM5, incorporates ambient noise isolation technology. The headset represents the biggest advancement in this technology because it has three microphones designed specifically to suppress low-frequency noise.

The noise-canceling quality of the headset is unparalleled thanks to Sony's innovative inbuilt noise-canceling processor QN2e. The Dynamic Driver X tweeter enhances lower-frequency reproduction, while the earplug is made of a special substance that dampens noise at higher frequencies.

The Sony WF-1000XM5 supports DSEE technology to enhance the quality of compressed audio files and LDAC for high-quality Bluetooth audio transmission. For a 3D surround sound experience, it also has head tracking technology and 360 Reality Audio.

The speaker is smaller and lighter than the previous model, and it has a battery life of up to 8 hours on a single charge and a total of 24 hours with the charging case. The headset includes IPX4 water splash protection and wireless charging capabilities.

The Sony WF-1000XM5 will cost around $300 and be offered starting in August of next year in both black and silver.
