Telegram responds to the needs of users and adds the Stories feature
In response to persistent user demands, the instant messaging software Telegram has added a tale feature to its user interface.
Despite initial reluctance, the feature was last month disclosed by Telegram CEO Bathel Durov. Despite some internal skepticism over the concept of stories, they chose to add what customers requested.
Originally scheduled to debut at the start of July, Telegram has begun making the Stories feature available to users of its paid Telegram Premium service.
It should be noted that several other apps, like SnapChat, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, Twitter, and even Signal, have adopted the Stories feature throughout the years.
Similar to other apps, Telegram's Stories feature allows users to choose who can view their stories: contacts, everyone, or a small group of their closest friends. Stories can be hidden when necessary and are displayed in a collapsible section at the top of chats.
Users of the application can also specify the validity period for stories to be displayed for anywhere between 6 and 48 hours, and they can choose to keep it permanently displayed on their profile page, exactly like Instagram does.
By taking this action, Telegram meets the needs of users and provides a function that is prevalent in other programs, which enhances the user experience and the variety of alternatives available to them.
