Apple withdraws its proposal to relocate the iPhone's call end button.
on the seventh beta of the upcoming operating system, iOS 17, Apple has moved the call end button back to its former location on the iPhone's Phone application interface.
And in one of the earlier beta releases of the iOS 17 operating system, which is presently being tested ahead of its official release to iPhone customers in September of next year, Apple has altered the location of the button to end phone calls on the iPhone.
And before retracting and returning the button to its original location, but among the other buttons that were all moved down the screen, Apple had previously moved the "end call" button to the lower right corner, instead of the traditional position in which the button was alone in the center of the screen below and a little away from the other buttons.
Users who used to finish calls by pushing in the middle of the iPhone screen's bottom side were miffed when Apple moved the call end button; this caused users to accidentally hit other buttons when trying to end calls, which forced Apple to move the button back to its original location.
Before the system's official debut, the system's various system applications received some minor updates and other enhancements in the seventh beta of iOS 17. These changes were made to enhance the user experience.
Developers and select customers who have signed up for Apple's beta program are presently receiving beta copies of the upcoming iOS 17.
With iOS 17, iPhone users will also be able to choose a look and image for their contact stickers, which are displayed when contacting other iPhones. Other new features include the ability to instantly convert voicemail into text and the ability to quickly exchange contacts via AirDrop, which Apple refers to as NameDrop.
