Instagram is planning to launch the voice notes feature
Instagram users will soon be able to record and share voice notes thanks to a new tool that Meta plans to release.
The platform's CEO, Adam Mosseri, stated that although no formal testing has begun, Instagram is trying to "give users the ability to create voice notes to share with friends."
Late last year, Meta introduced users to Instagram's Notes function, which enables users to express their thoughts with pals.
With the ability to add emojis, the notes function enables sharing of brief text posts of up to 60 characters.
Instagram later included the ability to attach a 30-second singing audio clip to notes.
In earlier remarks this month, Mosseri disclosed that the Instagram platform was exploring the capability of referring to a group of users using a single signal rather than referring to each user individually.
When you need to tag numerous individuals at once, it is anticipated that this group tagging tool would enhance the platform's story-reading functionality.
To limit communication between users who do not have any connections, the Instagram platform introduced new options in the DM direct message feature earlier this month.
The user will only be able to send one text message to any account that does not follow them, and they won't be able to add voice messages, images, or videos unless the receiving account accepts their request to communicate them.
