Twitter has doubled the amount of time tweets can be edited

 







Twitter has announced an increase in the length of tweet editing

  In order to improve the features available to participants of the paid Twitter Blue service.


Previously, Twitter introduced the long-awaited "Edit Tweets" button. This feature was made available exclusively to Blue subscribers and allowed them to make changes to original tweets, but not replies, within 30 minutes of posting.


The company announced that its subscribers have the ability to edit their tweets for up to an hour in a tweet posted by the company's paid service account Twitter Blue.


Shortly after the tweet was posted, the company updated the support page for Blue to reflect the new 60-minute deadline.



Earlier, Twitter introduced a new feature for subscribers of its paid service, which is to reduce the number of ads in half and place high-priority responses in conversations and search results.


As part of its efforts to improve the writing and reading experience on the platform, the company has decided to increase the character limit in tweets for subscribers to 10,000.


the US social media giant announced that both bold and italic text formats can now be supported.


Blue is also available as a monthly subscription for $8 on the web or $11 on Android and iOS. Subscribers to this service get many privileges, such as editing tweets, displaying ads by 50 percent, undoing tweets, and more.
