The Bing Chat bot has been made available for Chrome and Safari browsers by Microsoft
According to Microsoft, the BingChat AI bot will be accessible via browsers made by third parties, including Google Chrome and Safari. Previously, only its products, including the Edge browser and the Bing mobile app, offered this ChatGPT-like bot.
BingChat is being tested in Chrome and Safari browsers for some users, as stated by Microsoft's director of communications, and additional people will have access to it once routine testing procedures have been completed.
Users can visit the official Bing website Bing.com and then click on the chat icon to take advantage of the BingChat bot experience via Chrome and Safari, but this experience is only available to a few people.
When using the BingChat bot on Chrome and Safari, some users have discovered several limitations, such as the fact that it only supports five messages at a time per conversation.
Microsoft is also experimenting with including a night mode for the bot, though only a small number of users can now access it.
Microsoft introduced the visual search capability in the BingChat bot as part of an effort to improve its services and offered a premium commercial version for businesses and entrepreneurs.
The latest artificial intelligence model to power the ChatGPT bot, OpenAI's GPT-4, is the foundation of the BingChat bot.
