TikTok competes with Threads and Twitter with its new feature
Due to the growth of the Meta text blogging platform and a significant change in the Twitter brand, the short-form video service TikTok has announced support for the text postings feature.
In an effort to surpass Instagram competition from Meta, which concentrates on short videos Reels, TikTok has established a short video platform and added support for extended video and photo publishing.
In order to accommodate users who may not feel the need to take pictures of themselves, Chinese companies have announced support for text posts. The new feature allows authors to post their own short stories, poetry, song, song lyrics, and other literary works.
Users can now select text as a new content option by accessing the app's camera page and entering the desired text. They can also change the material by including sounds, marking certain points, enabling comments, or allowing duets.
According to TikTok, text posts will be just as dynamic and participatory as those in photos and videos, where users can include stickers, hashtags, and tags. Additionally, preferred backdrop colors can be selected.
Text comments can be deleted or kept as drafts for further modification. This feature aims to push the limits of content production for everyone on the platform while providing creators and the community with cutting-edge tools for self-expression.
This capability is available on TikTok at a time when Twitter Blue users are subject to unfavorable decisions and limitations. It is anticipated that TikTok will try to offer a substitute for users who want to produce text-based content, interacting with recent advancements like Mita's debut of the Threads app.
