Text formatting in the Keep Notes app is enabled by Google.

Google has begun enabling text formatting for Android users in its Notes app, Keep.

The new ability can be found in new notes and will be made available in notes in the upcoming weeks, according to a banner users will see on the app's main page. The new feature was discovered in the most recent version of the app.

As in text editing programs, users will see a bar with some basic text formatting options, such as specifying H1 and H2 subheadings, altering the size of text Aa, making it bold or italic, or highlighting or overwriting text.

The Google Keep app for Android is currently available in version 5.23.322.05, and users will eventually be able to access it through the Google Play Store.

The "Versions History" function, which allows seeing past iterations of the notes, was also added by Google to the notes service. It is now accessible for trial through the web version.

Google just released an updated version of the Notes app for Wear OS smartwatches, an additional widget for Android, and enhanced app UIs for Chromebooks, tablets, and foldable devices.

It's important to note that Google Keep is a service for managing notes and tasks that enables users to create text notes with the addition of images and task lists, organize them across various devices, and share them with others. It can be accessed through web browsers and mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
