OpenAI announces a feature for ChatGPT users

ChatGPT users will be able to access custom help functionality thanks to OpenAI.

OpenAI announced today (Thursday) that the popular chatbot (ChatGPT)'s free users can now access the custom help function.

In July of last year, the up-and-coming artificial intelligence research business developed a function just for ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

At the time, (Open AI) provided an explanation of how the capability allowed chatbot users to personalize the instructions that told it what kind of responses they wanted.

The personalized help function also attempts to relieve users of the inconvenience of repeatedly typing the same instructions into a chatbot.

In an earlier post, OpenAI stated that this functionality will let users "share anything they want (ChatGPT) to take into account in its answer."

The chatbot, for instance, can offer plans for meals, groceries, and travel based on the number of people in the household if that number is specified.

Custom instructions will be useful if users need to continually set the same context even though they can already do so while conversing using GPT Chat.

By clicking on the feature's name and selecting (in Custom instructions) Custom instructions, a user can test it out online.

After (OpenAI) released its application for (GPT Chat) in the (Google Play) Google Play Store on July 25, this and today's announcement follow.

It is noteworthy that the chatbot from (Open AI) has, since its release in late November of last year, revolutionized the field of generative artificial intelligence thanks to its unique skills to respond to queries in a natural language that is comparable to human English.
