Samsung produces its phones using recycled materials.

The development of a human-centered mobile experience using more recycled materials is crucial to Samsung's ongoing mission to expand opportunities for both people and the environment.

The new Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are another step in this direction of creating technology that dismantles barriers while attempting to have a minimal negative impact on the environment.

With the Galaxy S23 series earlier this year, Samsung broadened its creative application of recycled materials in product design while introducing new materials to create more components.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 continue these efforts by using more recycled materials in both the interior and external parts of their smartphones than did earlier models in the Galaxy Z series

Including the latest foldable mobile phones made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, fishing nets, and water barrels as well as pre-consumer recycled aluminum.

The company also increased the use of Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which contains pre-consumer recycled glass by an average of 22%.

The company increased the number of device components made using at least 10% post-consumer recycled plastic, pre-consumer recycled glass by 10%, or pre-consumer recycled glass by 22%, and now includes more forms of recycled material.

In comparison to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4's six internal components, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5's 15 components are made of recyclable materials.

The paper packing box is produced entirely of recycled materials as part of Samsung's ongoing efforts to limit the usage of single-use plastic in packaging.

For the front and rear cover protectors, the company now uses recycled paper materials. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are more examples of Samsung's efforts to make their smartphones more durable and upgradable.

Each gadget comes with four generations of operating system updates and five years' worth of security updates, extending the lifespan of the equipment.

As a result, the Galaxy community can dependably use their devices for a longer period, enabling them to make decisions that are better for the environment every day.
