Sony purchases an audio business Audeze


The acquisition of Audeze, a renowned audio brand and maker of high-end headphones, has been announced by Sony's entertainment business.


This acquisition, according to a joint press release from the two firms, would "strengthen Sony Entertainment's efforts to continue to innovate when it comes to the audio experience in PlayStation games."


According to the announcement, Audeze will continue to operate freely and create goods for various platforms while also gaining from its affiliation with the PlayStation ecosystem.


As long as Audeze continues to create headphones compatible with PC, Xbox, and other platforms, Sony won't stop the company from releasing its own goods on those platforms.


Due to contractual agreements between the two corporations, specifics of the arrangement, such as the cost of the acquisition, were kept private.


It is important to note that Audeze is a company that specializes in making high-quality headphones. Founded in 2008 and with its headquarters in Santa Ana, California in the United States, Audeze is a pioneer in developing headphones that use its cutting-edge technologies to produce an exceptional audio experience.


Hideaki Nishino, Senior Vice President of Platform Experience for Sony Entertainment, stated, "We're pleased to add Audeze expertise to the PlayStation ecosystem, building on the remarkable gains we've achieved with Tempest 3D audio technology on PlayStation 5 and the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset.


As part of its efforts to enhance the audio experience on the platform, Sony recently unveiled the Pulse Elite headset and the Pulse Explore earphone, two wireless gaming headphones aimed at PlayStation 5 users. The company also plans to release an update for the device that will add support for Dolby Atmos technology. It's a well-known game.
