Additional updates with many advantages announced

The debut of NASA's first on-demand broadcasting service has been announced. Other improvements pertaining to its digital platforms were also highlighted.

NASA said in a blog post that it aims to improve the quality of its digital platforms for the benefit of all by updating its NASA app, offering the first on-demand streaming service, and updating its flagship and science websites.

Everyone will now have access to a whole new world of content from the space agency thanks to these reforms. The agency has asked consumers to visit the website and leave comments at the URL so they may access the early, continuous preview of the beta website.

Access to information on the agency's missions and research, climate data, Artemis moon mission news, and more will be made easier through the new web experience, which will act as a constantly growing home base.

As part of an updated and secure set of web tools, the nasa.gov and science.nasa.gov websites will also offer a connected, topic-segregated experience with a shared search engine, integrated navigation experience, and increased publishing capabilities.

Based on comments from site visitors, NASA said it would continue to update and enhance its test site.

The organization will also update its mobile app and introduce its new NASA+ broadcast platform later this year.

Users will be able to receive live agency coverage through the ad-free, free, family-friendly streaming service, as well as view NASA missions through collections of original video series and a variety of new series that will debut via the streaming service.

The organization announced that it would revamp its online presence to better share its narratives about the exploration of the atmosphere and space and to inspire via creativity and discovery for the good of humanity.

The majority of the major platforms will support NASA+, including TV platforms like Apple TV and Fire TV, desktop and mobile web access, and the NASA app for Android and iOS mobile and tablet devices.
