complaints about the iPhone 14 Pro phones' battery life deteriorating
According to 9to5mac, an authority on Apple news, many iPhone 14 Pro owners are complaining about a notable drop in battery capacity less than a year after the device's release.
And since the corporation was embroiled in a scandal regarding the purposeful slowness of iPhones as the battery capacity fell, Apple has added the Battery Health feature to iPhone phones.
Because lithium batteries follow cycles of charging and discharging, they lose capacity over time and shorten battery life.
According to Apple, the iPhone battery is made to retain 80% of its initial capacity after 500 charging cycles under typical circumstances, and a reduction in battery capacity may have a detrimental impact on the functionality of iPhone phones.
Additionally, 9to5Mac saw a rise in the number of iPhone 14 Pro owners posting screenshots of their devices' maximum battery life on social media, indicating an unreasonable reduction.
By heading to (Settings), selecting (Battery), and then hitting (Battery Health), users of iPhone smartphones can check the battery's condition. The iPhone will then display details about the battery's capacity, maximum performance, and whether or not maintenance is required.
The permanent screen feature and the high brightness of the screen, which can reach two thousand lumens in direct sunlight, are thought to hurt the battery, or Apple may have altered the algorithm used to determine the battery's state in the iPhone 14 Pro phone.
Apple has not yet responded to customer complaints regarding the dramatic decline in the battery life of their phones.
Apple typically suggests replacing the battery when it has less than 80% of its maximum capacity.
